Blog Post #4- Ecological View on the Garden

Our plant, along with all the other plants in the garden, are affected by abiotic and biotic factors. Some of the biotic factors are the amount bugs that choose to feed on the plant and snails that also eat it. Some abiotic factors are the amount of sunlight and rain the plant gets. A lot of these plants are in constant competition for things like sun and water because of the limited space. Mostly it is easy to tell which plants have the better position because they will grow faster than the other, it never seems to be to hard to tell. Creatures like snails are a part of this competition because they'll choose the better pant to feed off of. It does seem like there are other plants that are sprouting up around the garden.
